On November 6, 2018, Mutual Bank, Whitman, Massachusetts, and North Easton Savings Bank, South Easton, Massachusetts, jointly announced that the banks will merge operations under the North Easton Savings Bank name. The combined institution will have total assets of over $1 billion.

This is Luse Gorman’s 20th bank merger transaction announced in 2018.

Mutual Bank is a Massachusetts chartered mutual co-operative bank with $503 million in assets.

North Easton Savings Bank is a Massachusetts chartered mutual savings bank with $558 million in assets.
